Jay Horne
Jay started his career with horses at the age of 6 on a pony named Misty. He experimented in numerous equine venues such as endurance riding, trail, gymkhana games and jumpers thourghout his teen years. As he matured, Jay found a love in the Morgan breed. He bought his first registered Morgan, "Green Briar Dark Brown" and began training with many of the areas top Morgan trainers. He trained and showed for many years in western and huntseat pleasure as well as saddle seat. The abundance of knowledge he gained from these role models has proved to be a great asset in perfecting his present day training & showing skills.

Many would say that Jay is best known for his ability to retrain "problem"  horses that are often deemed hopeless causes by their trainers. Jay  has taken many of these, so called "hopeless" horses, retrained them an d gone on to win numerous awards.

Besides his abundance of versatile horse knowledge, Jay brings the veterinary perspective to the Four Seasons Family. After a school field trip to the then Rochester Equie Clinic (now Myhre Equine) in 1982, Jay was hooked on equine medicine. He began as a volunteer there at age 14, then went on to work as a veterinary technician and soon after a surgical tech. Jay's list of daily technician duties were none different than the veterinarians'.  He would routinely monitor anesthesia during surgeries, read radiographs, artificially insemiate mares, administer IV medications, catheterize horses for surgery, night watch for foals and intensive care cases as well as countless other medical tasks. Boarders can feel safe and secure knowing that Jay brings a vast array of veterinary medical experience to the farm.

 Tyrone Fields
Tyrone started his passion for horses at the age of 9 on an Air Force base in Georgia. He was befriended by a woman named Carol Jean who owned Arabians and Anglo-Arabians. She took him under her wing by teaching him the basics over fences and overall great horsemanship. Tyrone's interest in showing soon became an addiction. He started a successful showing career on a grey Anglo-Arab named "Alladdin" who taught him a lot about patience. After moving North to NH Tyrone began managing a local Arabian farm. He was once bit by the horse bug more than ever. He soon had not one but two horses of his own.

Currently Tyrone enjoys working with Off the Track Thoroughbreds and has had many years of experience with them. Tyrone loves the adrenaline rush of the jumpers, the precision of the hunters and the under saddle classes are also a favorite. He also enjoys dressage and has ridden in several clinics as well as competed in a few tests. Tyrone currently trains with Gretchen Anderson of Apple Knoll Farm in new Boston, NH. After training with Gretchen for the past 8 years ,Tyrone credits her  for making him the great rider he has become and he cherishes the knowledge she has given him.Tyrone has been very sucessful on the local hunter, jumper & pleasure circuits. His ultimate dream is to one day jump a Grand Prix course
